Privacy Policy — Offline Translate Generator

This privacy policy describes how powerapps.ai ("we", "us", "our")
handles information when you use the Offline Translate Generator (OTG)
mobile and web application (Android package org.powerapp.translatedfile,
iOS bundle org.powerapp.translatedfile.ios, the "App").

We are the data controller for the limited data the App collects. Google (Firebase, AdMob, Play Billing, on-device ML Kit where used, and cloud AI where used), Apple (App Store billing, Vision, Translation where used), and similar platform providers act as data processors for the services they provide.
2. What stays on your device
- Photos and PDFs you select or capture for translation
- OCR text, language choices, and translated output images generated in the App
- App preferences (for example source/target language and settings)
- On-device translation / OCR language packs downloaded by the platform frameworks
We do not operate backend servers that receive or permanently store your photos, PDFs, or translated images for our own use.
3. Information we access or collect
3.1 Photos, documents, and on-device translation
When you translate, the App processes images or PDF pages you choose using on-device OCR and translation. That content is used to produce the translated result on your device. We do not upload your photos or PDFs to our own servers for storage or advertising.
3.2 Anonymous usage analytics — Firebase Analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand which features are used and to improve the App. It may collect:

We do not set custom user IDs or track precise GPS location through analytics.
3.3 Crash reports — Firebase Crashlytics
When the App crashes or hangs, Crashlytics may send a stack trace and minimal device state (model, OS version, app version, memory, locale). We never attach your photos, PDFs, or translated document content to crash reports.
3.4 Advertising — Google AdMob
Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect advertising ID, approximate location from IP, device info, and ad interaction events. Google’s ad policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Where required (for example EEA/UK), the App may show a consent form and a “Manage privacy choices” entry in Settings. Your photos and document content are not used for ads.
3.5 Cloud AI features
Some optional features (for example AI-assisted flows on the web app) may send the minimum text needed for your request to a cloud AI provider (such as Google Gemini). We do not use that content to build advertising profiles, and we do not store it on our own servers. Full photo or PDF files are not sent for those requests unless a feature explicitly requires an image and you choose to use it.
3.6 In-app purchases and subscriptions
Optional OTG Pro / subscription purchases are processed by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store. We never see your card details — only a receipt or purchase token to unlock features.
3.7 Remote configuration
The App may fetch non-personal configuration from Firebase Remote Config (for example the privacy policy URL, ad frequency, or feature flags). That does not include your photos or translated documents.

5. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly process data from children. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will assist.
6. Where data is processed
Firebase, AdMob, Play Billing, App Store, on-device platform frameworks, and optional cloud AI services process data in regions where their providers operate, subject to their data protection terms (Firebase data processing terms).
7. How long we keep data
- Firebase Analytics: default 14-month retention, then aggregated.
- Crashlytics: default 90 days for individual crash reports.
- AdMob: per Google's ad data policies.
- On-device photos, PDFs, and translations: until you delete them or uninstall the App.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you may have rights to access, delete, object to advertising processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us at the e-mail below. You can also:
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in device settings
- Revoke camera / photo library permissions in system Settings
- Uninstall the App
- Use in-app Settings to manage ad consent where available
9. Security
Network traffic uses HTTPS. We do not store your photos, PDFs, or translated images on our own servers.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and update the “Last updated” date. Substantial changes may also appear in App release notes.
